The Legal Aid Society - ELC vehicle donation program turns donated cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs or other vehicles into funds that help to provide free legal services to working poor families who cannot afford private attorneys.

The process is simple - and your vehicle donation may be eligible for a tax deduction. The program is operated according to the most recent regulations for car donations as revised by the IRS: the amount you are permitted to take as a deduction is the price that vehicle sells for at auction.

We can accept a majority of cars, trucks, boats, RV's and other vehicles. They don't even need to be running.

To donate your vehicle, just follow these easy steps:

1. Notify us of your intent to donate a vehicle. Call or e-mail Megan Segle, Development Associate at (415) 864-8848 or msegle@las-elc.org.
2. Arrange for your vehicle to be donated by contacting Bizzarro's Auto Auctions at 866-273-5898 or www.bizzarrosauctions.com. You can drop off your vehicle at their facility in Redwood City, or a tow truck can be sent to pick up your car at no charge to you. Bizzarro's will provide you with specific instructions or directions.
3. Your donated vehicle will then be sold at auction. Bizzarro's will provide you with the documentation you need on the selling price.
