Workers have the right to jobs that are free from discrimination and other illegal treatment. Yet many people, particularly low-income workers, still face unlawful practices by their employers.
The Legal Aid Society–Employment Law Center protects and enforces the legal rights of low-income workers. Each year, we provide free legal information and assistance to thousands of individuals who have questions or concerns about their employment rights and steps they can take to protect those rights.
All our services are confidential and free of charge. Income eligibility guidelines may apply.
